Included in the palette are 12 pressed pigments with shimmers, glitters, and mattes. Love the colors in this palette. Its glides wonderfully with a creamy texture and stays quite well through-out the day (with the help of an eyeshadow primer).
I find that the metallic shades do have more intensity when applied wet, but they still give a lot of impact even applied dry and without primer. Even though I love this eyeshadow, I will not repurchase this because Estee Lauder tests on animals. The two contrasting shades are the brown and black shade - which are both matte.
16Brand used a square-ish brush as an applicator which then caused this awkward rectangular patch of eyeshadow that didn't blend well but the dome-shaped applicator really gives you more control in applying the shadow to only your eyelid and nowhere else.
The second row is all matte and contains mid-tone and dark shades. Standout shades for me are Karma, a warm shimmery gold, Pop Icon, shimmery burgundy, Creek a shimmery teal, Biggie, a rich purple and Satin and Chenille, an iridescent pinky lavender. The scariest thing with the glitter eyeshadows is flecking off and cracking, but none of these happened with these Quick Pro Glitters Eye Polishes.
I hate leaving bad reviews but this palette did not work for me. the peachy shades would just disappear as the day goes, even the shimmers were just fading away by the 3rd hour mark. There are a variety of finishes throughout the eyeshadows and a somewhat decent shade range, which we'll get to in a minute.
