Elf Foundation Primer

E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer ($8) is a brand new strong facial primer being hauled as Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer which really did not have me excited. Why? Because I am one of those few people that didn't enjoy Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer.

I know the excitement though contemplating Tatcha's variant is $52 and E.L.F's is $8 (plus a smidge larger also by the way). I suggest if you love Tatcha's formulation why would not you need an $8 variation to spare yourself some significant money to not mention in the event that you just can not afford $52 dollars or can not see yourself paying that much on a primer why wouldn't you want a budget option?

Makeup dupes are fairly common in the beauty world and E.L.F.'s always been around point producing cheaper version of their latest and latest cosmetics releases. Though, at the present time it's many brands and a controversial topic are swiping back in brands which are not producing dupes much but out and out copies of products.

E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer comes in a plastic container that holds 0.72 oz of product. Packaging is your fundamental E.L.F. appearance with the dark cap and the clear base. It's nothing fancy just like Elf poreless putty primer vs Tatcha silk canvas the version of Tatcha that is for sure and it doesn't come with a spatula or a pick to scoop out the primer at which as Tatcha's does. The deficiency of a spatula isn't an issue since I have lots of them laying around but I think it would have been nice to add one.

Like I said Tatcha's packaging is it's hell of a like bigger and far more fancy. Visually E.L.F.'s packaging is a lot smaller and Tatcher's gives the illusion of comprising much more primer due to this.

Packaging aside one of the main factor are the components and how they compare. I am not an expert in components but both goods do have a lot of the same elements but in sequence of appearance such as Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Water, Dimethicone, Squalne, and Titanium Dioxide only to mention a few. I discovered that the main difference between both is Tatcha's formula contains Hydrolyzed Silk and Silk Powder which is something lacking in E.L.F.'s variant. Also, Tatcha's variant includes a lovely aroma and E.L.F.'s does not. The deficiency of odor will be a win for users that are sensitive but people who enjoy the fragrance of Tatcha may miss it.

E.L.F.'s formula is nearly identical in performance to Tatcha's. The feel leaves behind a sleek canvas for makeup, absorbs and is just as creamy. I felt I had no difficulties and like it put to a silky finish and it did blur the little pores on my nose. I really liked the texture a little better than the formulation of Tatcha since it was slick in my skin. My foundation applied on top of it.
